Before school finished for summer vacation, Sebastian performed at his Drama Class which was a fantastic effort! Kids also went with dad ice-skating, whilst mum was busy preparing for the big 5-week trip away.

We stayed with our friends, the Huxtable family, for 4 days ...

SWEDEN - Västerås for 36 hours

After leaving Zuzi's home, we travelled to Skamhed to visit Birgitta and Lars, a surprise for them! and then a few hours later we arrived in Mora to see Sofia - and she surprised us!!! Gorgeously pregnant and only 4 weeks to go!
SVEG - 6 days
So happy to be back in Sveg with Farmor and Thord - it was raining most of the time, but we had a great time anyways.

On the Solstice 21 June 2016, we drove to Messlingen to see the rock paintings, approx 1800 bc or earlier. We went with Annica Trygg, Elin and Bella and walked for about 3 hours up and down a very big mountain area not far from Funasdalen in the north-west of Sweden.

CROATIA - Zagreb, 4 days
We flew from Stockholm via Amsterdam and landed in Zagreb. Our family was waiting for us at the airport arrival area! We stayed with Jane's uncle Mijo, her mum's brother and his family.
On our first day, we visited Jasna and her farm, with lots of animals. Cousin Nikolina lives there with her dad Stjepan.
Then on the next day, we visited a Neanderthal Museum and an old castle with them, called Trakoscan.
